Prześwit to odległość od najniższego punktu w środku nadwozia do podłoża. Producent Peugeota 308 mierzy jednak prześwit tak, jak mu pasuje. Oznacza to, że odległość amortyzatorów, miski olejowej silnika lub tłumika od asfaltu może być mniejsza niż podany prześwit.
